From Verona's inception, it was his vision to blend together good management and business practices with the highest standard in craftsmanship. Transparency, attention to detail, forward thinking and education are key factors in running a successful general contracting and remodeling construction based business. Joseph was born in New York City and grew up just outside Philadelphia in South Jersey, where he attended college and graduate school. While still in college, Joseph owned a successful landscaping business in South Jersey, where he learned how to manage people, run jobsites, prepare estimates and maintain work timelines. Later on, while getting his Master's Degree, he worked part-time for his Father's construction / contracting business in New Jersey. It was here that Joseph learned much of the building trades, gained construction experience and learned many important aspects of running a service / contracting business. Working as a subcontractor for multi-million dollar new home builders, under his Father's direction, Joseph learned the importance of attention to detail, transparency, honesty and integrity in business. He also learned the value of following through with your promises on the job and maintaining a schedule. Joseph eventually went on to a career in finance, banking and wealth management, while always maintaining his love for home renovations, creative design, mechanical processes and architecture. In short, he has always enjoyed building things! Along the way he became more interested in real estate investment, home improvement, renovating and design. Though not an interior designer by trade, Joseph recognizes the importance of bringing together elegant, contemporary design features with classical, old world charm. Maintaining functionality with smart resale value often outweighs expensive projects that don't last the test of time. With that in mind, Joseph believes in studying classic art and architecture in Europe and has a particular affinity for Mediterranean, Italian/Roman, French and Spanish architecture. Many architectural elements inspire his design ideas such as building wine rooms and kitchen/butler pantry projects. Today, his remodeling business is the culmination of his love for transforming properties, creative remodeling and design, and a career in the financial services industry.
