What is hardscaping?  Hardscaping refers to the use of non-living, solid materials. Examples are stone, concrete, brick, wood, gravel. Use of these materials usually compliments your home and yard landscaping to create sometimes dramatic features, such as an outdoor kitchen, stone walls, patios, pergolas, decks, firepits and pathways. 

We design and install low voltage landscape lighting. We can also retrofit older low voltage lighting systems with quality LED lights for your flower beds, perimeter areas, tree uplighting, and pathways. If you prefer, we can also provide a design/layout service and you can provide the lighting kits and DYI installation.

In addition, we retrofit home foundation uplighting for beautiful "wall-washing".  Often, existing 120v electrical outlets or boxes are strategically placed along the perimeter of your home, with knuckle style recepticles pointed up at the walls of your home. These lighting receptacles may need to be updated with modern 120v LED lights.

How to choose the right evergreens, deciduous trees and shrubs, coniferous trees, ground cover and flowers for your landscaping. We will design and install the beds and the plants.

Verona will create a landscape plan for your hardscape areas, flower beds and shrubs and trees. 

Is your fresh mulch always washing down the driveway or into your lawn? Do you like a dark color mulch, natural color and look, cedar or a synthetic mulch?  How often do you need to replenish your mulch and how thick should it be placed in the beds?  Did you know that too many landscapers pile the mulch up against the base of ornamental stubs and trees, which is not recommended for the health of your plants.
